In Memory Of... was started in mid 2004 by Jordan and Taylor Rigg. They were later joined by Matt
Godsey and Liz Smith.
The band is just tapping the surface of what they're capable of sound, and style wise.
If nothing
else, the band's prayer is that God will use their music to change someone's life. Christian music has become a thing of the
past, it's become more of a business then a ministry. In Memory Of... plans to change the way Christian music is viewed and
heard, and turn it back towards the ministry; like in the days of Keith Green and Larry Norman.
In Memory of is a hard-hitting rock band made up of Jordan, Taylor, Liz and Matt.
Unlike other
rock bands out there, their music is a mix of rock, emo, alternative, and acoustic, which they like to call a "melancholy
rock". They have a very unique sound and hope to change the way music is heard, written and presented. A lot of
heart and soul goes into what they do, and after seeing them play live, you begin to see this passion unfold.
